The Elizabeth B. Pert Library has served the Town of Hector community since 1972. The library began as a retired Southern Tier Library System (STLS) bookmobile parked in the Hector Presbyterian Church parking lot. Then, the library moved into the VLH Fire House Meeting Room, and finally, the library got its own brand new, 1200-square-foot building. Over the years, we have grown into a fully operating library!
